What it adds
Kill feed HUD
A polished, team-coloured kill feed showing attacker → method → victim, with inline player heads, kill-method icons, and kill-streak or assist badges. Pill backgrounds use each player's team colour, while (YOU) highlights your own kills and deaths. Everyone in the game sees the same kills, and it's automatically hidden during non-PvP games and rounds.
Optional video screens
Lets the server play videos and game intros during events — intros, trailers, announcements, and lobby content. Playback is powered by the optional WaterMedia/VLC backend. WaterMedia is not required: without it, the kill feed and all other features keep working normally.
Resource-pack reporter
If the Crown Championship resource pack fails to apply, the mod uploads the relevant section of your log to mclo.gs. A clickable, copyable link is posted in chat so staff can quickly figure out why the pack failed to load.

FAQ
Do I need WaterMedia?
No. WaterMedia is completely optional. Without it you can still use the kill feed HUD, resource-pack failure reporter, and all other core features — you just won't be able to view videos and live streams played through the mod.
The kill feed icons or player heads don't appear.
Make sure you accepted the Crown Championship resource pack — the kill-method icons and custom fonts come from it. Player heads and team colours may only appear correctly for players who are currently online and participating in the event.
Videos are not playing.
Make sure WaterMedia 2.1.37 is installed in your mods folder. Video playback is unavailable when WaterMedia is not installed.
Can I use this mod on other servers?
Crown Core is built specifically for the Crown Championship server. Features like the kill feed rely on the server's death messages, resource pack, and companion plugin, so the mod won't do anything meaningful on most other servers.
